Aurora Aksnes was born June 15 in 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Popularly referred to as Aurora or sometimes stylized with highercase letters like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 and received great reviews from journalists as well as press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are among the best covers of the artist. Katy Perry's support for her track Runaway on her blog earned the artist additional praise. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft and being fascinated by the music. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes urged Aurora Aksnes to study music as an interest or as a profession. Her first step was to compose the songs she wrote herself. Her sources include renowned authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her love of Bjork's style. The singer decided to perform her music in public when her mom suggested they might help others not to gain fame with the work she does, but to help those around them see their importance and the ways they could impact the world. When she was six, she began to play the piano and at nine when she began to write songs. It took until her 14th birthday that she told her parents. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. She claims she loves to compose songs. For her, music is the best method to communicate anything.
